What it is: Stonewall Kitchen Chocolate Doughnut Mix
Why I like it: I had not made doughnuts before but I found this mix to be easy and to borrow the saying “you can’t eat just one”; they were light and delicious. A great weekend breakfast treat!

What it is: OXO POP Containers
Why I like it: These containers are a great way to store a wide array of food items. They are easy to open and close with just the push of the pop up button. They are airtight, see through and lightweight. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes to accommodate anything from spaghetti to flour to teas or just about anything you would need.

What it is: Pacific Rim Autumnus Red Wine
Why I like it: Autumnus represents everything that is beautiful about food and wine… bounty, variety, and complexity. This Washington red wine is a delicious combination of Sangiovese, Barbera, Pinot Nero, and Primitive. It has aromas of black cherry, clove, and lavender. This wine is perfect with almost any meal as it is made to pair with a diverse canvas of foods.

What it is: Eco on the Go
Why I like it: These fun and colorful eco cups are a must in the summer time for nice ice cold beverages. Because of the insulated acrylic walls your beverage will stay cold for longer periods of time and keep your glass from sweating, which to me is important when you’re outside enjoying the sunshine.

What it is: The New Food Lover’s Companion
Why I like it: This book is as fascinating as a best selling novel and a lot more useful. It has 6,700 entries describing foods, cooking techniques, herbs, spices, wines and the ingredients for happy dining. If you want to know the difference between Mescal and Tequila, you have no further to look than page 429, hankering to understand “kumiss”, see page 374.
